Hi! I’m Ram.

I create compelling technology experiences.

I’m currently a UX Lead at Google based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, designing products for people new to the internet.

I’ve previously led product efforts across Employment and Connectivity. I helped build a jobs marketplace for entry level jobs, connecting job seekers to employers, through Kormo Jobs. I also led design for Google Station — enabling fast & free public WiFi infrastructure, and Datally — an app that helped people save mobile data.

My purpose and joy is in designing for people across different geographies, cultures, and their relationship with technology.

Prior to working at Google, I led design at Khosla Labs, a startup incubator in India, where I helped design and launch a mobile payments company called Novopay.

I also drove other product initiatives across National Identity Services and Healthcare.

I love partnering with technologists, artists and makers to craft delightful user experiences, be it for digital products, services, or physical spaces.

Apart from working with product teams, I’ve worked directly with small and large clients — at frog, an innovation consulting company. I was part of a creative team that delivered projects for Disney, Kohl’s, Jaypore, and a large financial corporation in Asia.

I’ve also led freelance independent design projects for 12+ years across 4 countries.
